iRiver Japan has made software availabile on the net that will support drag and drop video conversion into MPEG4. The reencoded files can then be used by the iRiver U10 PMP. If the translation of the page is accurate, it looks like the software only supports AVI (in DV format), and MPEG1/2 files for conversion into MPEG2. If anyone has tried this out, do drop us a line. It’d be cool if the software could use AVI files that were encoded using other codecs.
