COWON A2 now available in the US
Cowon is now selling the new COWON A2 portable media player here in the US. The A2 comes with a 30GB HDD and a 4 inch TFT Widescreen display. It’s able to play back a slew of video formats including AVI (DivX, XviD), WMV, ASF, MP3, WMA, and OGG files. It’s not just a playback device though! The A2 is also capable of recording video and audio content making it a portable DVR system. TV recording goes into MPEG4 video (at resolutions of 640 x 480 @ 30fps) and uses MP3 as the audio codec. You’ll get 10 hours of video playback and 18 hours of audio playback.
