Have you ever had a hot laptop brewing on your legs? Well I recently did with my new Toshiba Qosmio and it isn’t any fun folks! So that’s why I’m interested in ThinkComputers review of the Vantec Lapcool 3 Notebook Cooler here. Unfortunately it looks the new version of the Lapcool is just a slab of plastic with some fans built in. Here’s the verdict:

If you are looking for a powerful and reliable cooler for a high end / gaming notebook, the LapCool 3 is not a wise decision as it truly lacks the features and durability to work well with the higher end of notebooks. ThinkComputers.org gives the Vantec LapCool 3 Notebook Cooler a 6 out of 10.
