Sprint has officially launched it’s EV-DO high speed network, calling it the Power Vision. You can get a peak download rate of 2 megabits per second with average download rates around 400 to 700 kilobits per second. Sprint is also launching two features to go along with the Power Vision network – Sprint Music Store and Sprint TV.

The Sprint Music Store is powered by Groove Mobile and will offer 250,000 songs for download at a cost of $2.50 a song (a bit expensive if you ask me). You can however get two downloads for each song – one to the phone and one higher quality version to the PC.

The Sprint TV service will give mobile users access to streaming media from content providers such as CNN, Fox News, and the Cartoon Network.
