Sony has announced a new ultra portable digital camera called the Cyber-shot DSC-T9. I can’t believe we’re already at DSC-T9 now. I could have sworn I just purchased the T1 a few years ago (of course I just lost my beloved T1 so perhaps I should consider a new digicam). Anyhow, let’s see the specs on the new six megapixel T9.
- Available in black and silver
- Incorporates Advanced lens-shift optical image stabilizer into a camera with a folded-path lens system
- Enhanced image stabilization mode
- High ISO 640 sensitivity to improve picture taking in dark environments
- 3x optical zoom
- 1.3s startup time
- 0.01s shutter release lag
- 0.25s shutter lag
- 2.5 inch LCD color display
- 640 x 480 video capture at 30fps
- 16:9 photo mode
The DSC-T9 will be available in Japan starting on Nov. 18th and will be available in the US in January for around $450.
