DesignTechnica reviews the Kodak EasyShare One digital camera here. The key feature found on the EasyShare One is the Wi-Fi integration and the ability for the camera to directly connect to Kodak’s EasyShare Gallery (known formaly as Ofoto). This is one of the first cameras to have a direct to the internet picture sharing service without the need for a PC. It’s clear that Kodak aims to increase visibility to their Kodak EasyShare Gallery service through their digital camera lineup. Other features include:

  • 3.0-inch (7.6 centimeter) rotating touch screen and stylus
  • Wireless for instant sharing with included Wi-Fi card
  • 4.0 MP captures enough detail for photo-quality 11 x 15-inch prints
  • Schneider-Kreuznach C-Variogon 3x optical zoom lens
  • 256 MB internal memory stores up to 1500 favorite pictures
    What does DesignTechnica think?

Kodak is to be highly praised for trying to cut through the Wi-Fi gobbledegook and making the camera as simple to use as possible. Although I would love to see some improvements on the camera side and a lower price, Kodak is to be commended for taking this wireless leap.
