A lawsuit was filed against Apple on Friday claiming that screens on the iPod nano “scratch excessively during normal usage”. The suit was filed on behalf of nano owner Jason Tomczak and others who have purchased the small player. The suit claims that the screen gets so scratched up that you really can’t see anything anymore after some time. The plaintiffs are asking for trial by jury and they’re seeking damages including reimbursements for the cost of the nano, statutory and punitive damages and attorneys’ fees. They are also seeking a share of the “unlawful or illegal profits” Apple has made from the sales of these players. Umm ok.. Not sure about that one.
