ExtremeTech reviews the latest XPC from Shuttle called the Shuttle XPS SD11G5 here. The SD11G5 is designed for low power consumption unlike recent XPC systems which concentrated on supporting high end processors from AMD and Intel. The SD11G5 supports the Intel Pentium M processor which delivers high power performance at a low power consumption rate. While great for mobile systems, does the Pentium M cut it for the desktop? If you need the lower noise and lower thermal output but still want a good gaming box, this might just be your baby. It would also be a decent office workstation in a low power, low noise environment.
