Sony is releasing a new bookshelf stereo system called the NAS-M7HD. The unit has a built in 40 GB hard which means you’ll be able to rip CDs or copy music from MD files onto the integrated drive. Files are stored in ATRAC format of course – blah. Music can also be copied back onto the MD recorder to take with you on the go. There’s a USB port which will let you connect Sony Digital Audio Players for music transfer. Finally you get a nice 4.3 inch color display showing you artist information. The system can be placed on the network and accessed by other PC’s for music serving.
