Shuttle introduces the M1000 XPC Media Center
Shuttle has FINALLY introduced the M1000 XPC Media Center PC and yes – I am drooling! The M1000 is a break from the Shuttle cube design found on other XPC systems. Instead, Shuttle wisely decided to build a stereo component styled chassis for the M1000 thereby making the system fit right at home in the living room environment. The specs on the M1000 are fairly impressive. You get :
- Intel Pentium M 740 CPU
- Intel 915PM chipset
- 250 GB SATA hard drive
- NVIDIA GeForce 6600LE GPU
- Hi-Definition 7.1 Audio
- Analog TV Tuner with support for HDTV
- 8 in one card reader
- Remote Control
- Wireless keyboard

What I particularly like about the M1000 is the design of the back ports. It almost looks like a hi end receiver unit instead of a PC from the back.

Check out the product page for additional information. I’d love to get my hands on a review unit!
