Creative Labs Zen Nano Plus 512MB reviewed
I suppose Creative can’t come up with a more original name than the Creative Labs Zen Nano Plus 512MB huh? I mean can’t you use something other than Nano? Don’t try and conjure up images of the Apple nano with this digital music player folks. Yes it’s a flash MP3 player and yes it’s small but it’s no nano by any means. This is a 512MB MP3/WMA player with a built in FM tuner/voice recorder/radio recorder. It uses a single AAA battery and has an 18 hour battery life. I find it odd that DesignTechnica actually rates this player highly but here’s their verdict:
The Creative Nano is the flash player to beat for stylish and rugged flash-based MP3 players. While other pricier options may have more storage, the Nano holds its own with a slew of features integrated into a remarkable small package.
I’m sorry but the lack of a color display is a killer for me. Yes the iPod is more expensive but it has a more complete software package in the form of iTunes and it’s just utterly beautiful. Yes. I’m biased.
