Sharp Corp. said on Tuesday that supply of LCD panels for televisions larger than 32 inches would most likely fall short of demand by 15 to 30 percent in 2005. The shortage in large LCD displays reflected the increased demand for large LCD televisions over other high definition formats. Unfortunately high demand with low supplies can only spell one thing – higher prices for consumers.
