Samsung/Bang and Olufsen Serene Headset
Remember the announcement of the partnership between Samsung and Bang and Olufsen a few months back? Well they’ve released their first product and it’s called the Serene. It’s essentially a high end minimalistic tri-band GSM clamshell phone. The catch? The LCD display is on the bottom half of the phone as opposed to the top while the controls are moved to the top. It uses a funky circular design keyboard that reminds you of a cross between a traditional rotary phone and an Apple click wheel interface. The screen is a large 240 x 320 262k color display making the phone larger than most mobile phones. Oh yeah – it’s not going to be cheap either. Expect to shell out 1000 Euro for this darn phone. I think I’ll stick with the RAZR.
