As much as I would want a flat panel display such as a plasma screen or an LCD screen, there is just no way in the world that I would be willing to shell out $9,000 bucks for one. That’s what you’d have to do if you wanted to own a Pioneer PDP-5050HD. This 50 inch plasma screen has the following specs:
* Inputs for Component, Composite, HDMI, FireWire, S-Video, VGA,
* 1280 x 768 resolutions
* Support for 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i
* NTSC, ATSC, CableCard support
PC Mag reviews the unit and here’s their verdict:
The Pioneer PDP-5050HD is an attractive plasma display with good image quality and an abundance of A/V input options, but its pricing is steep compared with the competition
