Pinpoint Consumer Electronics announced the launch of the Neuros MPEG-4 Video Recorder device which it claims is the “digital answer to VCR”. It operates on the same principles as a VCR allowing users to record video from any video source (such as a TV, Camcorder, DVD player etc). Users can then play back the files on devices such as the Sony PSP, laptops, media players and computer desktops. The device is the size of a PDA and weighs around 140g. It is compatible with Pro Memory Stick Duo, CF cards, and SD cards.
