Ford plans to ramp up hybrid vehicles
Ford is planning to push harder into the hybrid market by ramping up production of its hybrid vehicle lineup from a few thousand this year to over 250,000 cars by 2010. Ford is also planning on increasing the number of flexible fuel vehicles which can run on either pure gasoline or gasoline blended with ethanol. It’s great to see more and more car manufacturers release hybrid vehicles. Hopefully this will continue to spur development of hybrid vehicles and produce ever more fuel efficient vehicles with better, more powerful engines.
