USRobotics (yes they are still around) has announced that they will be entering the growing VoIP market during the fourth quarter of 2005. The first product being announced by USR is a USB Internet phone which is designed to work with software applications such as Skype and other IM applications. The USB Internet Phone plugs right into your PC’s USB port and allows you to make free phone calls using Skype. The phone is similar to regular phones and includes:
* Dial from phone or PC
* Speed dial
* LCD Display also shows “Skype” caller id, call status, time and phone status
* Rings just like a normal phone
* Supports personalized ring tones
