In case you were underground today and didn’t read your news, eBay has agreed to acquire Skype for the crazy sum of $2.6 billion in up front cash and eBay stock. Why would eBay purchase Skype? It looks to add communications to the buyer-seller marketplace allowing people to easily communicate to each other to conduct transactions.
