Canon to unveil a new HDV camcorder priced between $10-12K with 1080i support
CamcorderInfo is reporting that Canon will be unveiling a new camcorder next week at Canon EXPO that will support the HDV High Definition Video format. The new camcorder will be similar to the XL2 MiniDV camcorder and will support recording at 1080i although it will not support 720p recording. The new camcorder will also not support 24P unfortunately. Check out CamcorderInfo for more info on this.
