BIOS magazine reviews the desktop replacement laptop – the Alienware Area-51m 7700 here. This super large laptop has it all – speedy processor, large widescreen display, two optical drives, and plenty of I/O ports. Unfortunately it’s bulky and not great for gamers out there so what’s the final verdict from BIOS?

The Area-51m 7700 certainly delivers in terms of features, but how does it perform? Well, it’s certainly a powerful machine that should be capable of handling your processing needs, but its gaming prowess left us disappointed and fell well short of Dell’s Inspiron XPS Gen 2. With Alienware’s heritage in gaming, this was a real shocker.
