Apple introduces the new iPod nano
Apple has introduced a new addition to the wildly successful iPod line of digital audio players – the iPod nano. The new nano replaces the iPod mini as one of the smallest players available out there. The nano measures 3.5 x 1.6 x 0.27 inches and weighs a scant 1.5 ounces. It’s thinner than a pencil and comes with a 1.5 inch color screen. The new nano will come in a 2GB model and a 4GB model with the 2GB running for $199 while the 4GB will be going for $249. The small size is made possible by using flash memory as opposed to the small hard drives found within the mini. The mini is still available in 4GB and 6GB models.
