Logitech is certainly making it known that it intends to be a major force in the remote control business. The latest remote coming out from Logitech is the Logitech Harmony 890 Advanced Universal Remote which aims to control it all. The remote comes with a multi-zone AV control unit which allows you to control home entertainment appliances, lighting, and household appliances located in multiple rooms. You can use the remote to go from watching TV in the living room to listening to music in another room. I’m going to have to test drive one of these remotes one of these days given that I have 6 or so remotes at home.
