Wrapables Staple Free Stapler
Since we’re at the Gadgeteer, let’s take a look at the review of the Wrapables Staple Free Stapler here. Yes that’s right.. it’s a staple free stapler.. Umm.. seems counterintuitive if you ask me. In any case, the device essentially punches a hole into your stack of papers and then folds the paper back to form a lock. You can do this with a stack of paper up to 5 sheets high. Anything higher, well you’ll need a real stapler folks.

LaLa Laptop Bag reviewed
The Gadgeteer reviews the LaLa Laptop Bag here. Who says that laptop bags have to look like well.. laptop bags? The LaLa bag looks more like a purse and is made out of Ostrich embossed leather. What’s the verdict?
The LaLa Laptop bag has some things going for it, and some things that could use some improvements. The good points are that it is made really well and has a lot of storage options. The things that could stand improving are the straps, and locations of some of the pockets. I think a better location for the clutch purse and business card slots would be the interior of the bag. I guess I should also mention the price. This bag isn’t cheap. But if you want to be fashionable, you should already be used to that caveat. All that said, I’ll be anxious to see the next version of the LaLa Laptop bag.
Yes it is expensive folks - coming in at $455.00 - OUCH!

Creative Labs X-Fi reviewed
ExtremeTech reviews the latest generation of sound cards from Creative Labs - the Creative Labs X-Fi here. The X-Fi uses one of the most sophisticated single chip audio architectures created thus far with a transistor count of 51.1 million transistors. You’ll find information on the new line of sound cards over at ExtremeTech so drop on by if you’re looking for a new high end card for that PC of yours. Here are some final thoughts from ExtremeTech:
Should you buy an X-Fi?
If you have a current Audigy 2 solution and you are only a casual music listener or gamer, the answer is likely no. That user would likely opt for the $129 basic version, which is too much for the gain they would see. If you’re a serious audio buff, though, you should give some thought to it, particularly if you’re building a new system. The 127-voice capability is pretty amazing, and you’ll have great fun fooling around with all the audio effects. Think about moving up to the Platinum, though, as the 1/4-inch jacks allow more robust connection to high end headphones and also brings that spiffy remote to the table.

Panasonic X800 reviewed
MobileBurn posts a new review of the Panasonic X800 smartphone here. The X800 comes with the Symbian OS and also features support for Triband GSM. Other features on this thin phone include:
* VGA camera
* Bluetooth support
* GPRS support
MobileBurn’s verdict?
The X800 is a good looking effort by Panasonic, but its UI leaves a lot to be desired. The absence of shortcut allocation to the D-Pad and side button, and poor keypad backlighting was very disappointing. I don’t believe that the X800 is good enough to compete with other Symbian OS smartphones out there in terms of functionality. However, it will appeal to clamshell zealots and the fashion-conscious.

Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro reviewed
PC Magazine reviews the SLR Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro here. The camera has a 6.17 MP sensor that can resolve up to 12.3MP using interpolation. How does it compete against the other big boys out there? Here’s PC Mag’s verdict:
Some professional portrait photographers may enjoy the quality, but the S3 Pro is too expensive to have such a slow burst rate.

And now.. the prices are listed on their US site here. Still no links to any larger capacities though rumors have it that iRiver is planning an 8GB model.
