So we all know that there’s going to be an iTunes phone from Motorola. The question has been who will sell this phone and when will it be released? Well it looks like Apple has sent out invites to many organizations about an event to be held on Sept. 7th. The invite reads “1,000 songs in your pocket changed everything. Here we go again.” Hmm.. interesting stuff folks. Also, the Wall Street Journal is apparently reporting that Cingular has agreed to carry the phone. In other news, there’s a possibility that Apple will be announcing a new 2 or 4GB iPod shuffle.

Initial reports say the new iTunes phone will only be able to carry 25-100 songs, to prevent Apple from cannibalizing its iPod market. But there may be hope, rumors are circulating that Apple may announce a MNVO move making it a player in the wireless industry.
