Matsushita is planning to announce new plasma televisions that are cheaper than their current lineup of models. The company will start to market a new 65 inch plasma model that will cost half the price of existing models. In addition to this new 65 inch model, the company (best known for the Panasonic brand) will unveil low priced versions of 30 and 40 inch displays.
