Sony yesterday, unveiled a new flash based digital audio player called the Walkman “Bean” player which is part of the NW-E300 product line. These new players come in either 512MB or 1GB capacities and are available in several colors including coconut white, tropical ice blue, cotton candy pink and licorice black. The new digital walkman support the following features:
* Support for MP3, ATRAC3/3Plus, WMA, and WAV files
* Built in FM Tuner
* OEL display
* Support for USB connectivity
* 50 hours of continuous playback using rechargeable battery


The player will be available starting in October with the 512MB version selling for $130 while the 1GB version (NW-E307)going for $180.
