BigBruin reviews the Sunbeamtech Acrylic Lite-Up Keyboard here – yes – yet another light em up keyboard.. except this one is operated via the press of the Scroll button. The keyboard comes with the following features:
* Interface: PS/2
* Operation Systems: Win 95/98/ME/2000/XP/NT (and above)
* Switch Life: 5-million life cycles
* Weight: 1.0052 kg
* Dimension: 465 X 200 X 28/20 (mm)
* Operating Temp: 0 – 55* C

I’ve used backlit keyboards in the past and although they were cool to look at, they were never actually useful in helping me see keys in the dark. Does the Sunbeamtech get passed this problem?

Sunbeamtech almost got this keyboard right with the exception of one primary thing: the blue backlighting just doesn’t make reading the keys a whole lot easier in the dark. Considering the price and poor backlighting of this keyboard, the Sunbeamtech Acrylic Lite-Up Keyboard earns 3.5/5 stars. A slight improvement in the keyboards design could easily improve this score by a full star.
