More Apple systems rumors – dual core G5 PowerMacs and a G5 mini?
MacObserver has an article out summarizing a research note from Investment Banking firm Caris and Co. about possible upcoming Apple products. The firm believes that Apple will be unveiling the following new products in Sept. at Apple Expo 2005 in Paris.
* G5 PowerMacs using dual core 970 PowerPC processors
* G5 based Mac mini
* Faster G4 based PowerBooks with possible Hi-Def screens
The higher end G5 PowerMacs could include dual processor dual cores which would essentially bring the total # of CPUs in the system to 4 (similar to dual processor dual core systems in the Intel world). Check out MacObserver for more info.
