Hi, I'm a new MR-100 (m:robe) owner and I have a few things to say. Like anyone else, I was super excited to get my new mp3 player. However, soon it became clear that it wouldn't be as much fun as I thought it would be. I spent about $160.00 on it at a Radio Shack. Within the first 5 days, I had to return it for a new one; the original m:robe "froze up" and I wasn't able to do anything with it. No problem, I received a replacement unit from the saleslady at the store and rushed home to download some new music. A few things to know: I don't own my own pc so I used my friends (who has no internet) to rip some cd's I have and transfer them to my m:robe. For some reason, I can't get any of the music to "Sync" with the m:robe. I tried it a friend's house on his pc (he has internet and a very fast computer) and I still couldn't transfer any files. Of course, I would gladly buy downloads to pack into my mp3 player, but m:trip (the software) isn't compatible yet with any online stores, such as itunes. So, It's been about three weeks now and I still haven't fully enjoyed my m:robe. If any of this sounds familiar to others out there please contact me and let me know how I can fix this problem! I'm about to pawn the damn thing pretty soon.
