Sony DCR-DVD92 DVD Handycam Camcorder
Looking for a DVD based camcorder? Well PC Mag reviews the latest Sony entry – the Sony DCR-DVD92 DVD Handycam Camcorder here. The camcorder has the following features:
* 6″ advanced HAD CCD
* DVD format video recording with DVD-R, DVD-RW and DVD+RW compatibility
* Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with SteadyShot Picture Stabilization System
* 2.5″ hybrid touch panel LCD screen
* 4-1/2Hx3-1/2Wx2-1/4L”; 1.1 lb.
I personally would like to see more camcorders use built in hard drives as opposed to recording things onto DVDs but hey – these DVD camcorders are coming down in price and we all know the media is cheap. What is PC Mag’s verdict?
The Sony DCR-DVD92 is reasonably priced for a DVD camcorder and features a 20X zoom lens, but video quality was disappointing.
