Dell will be coming out with the XPS 600 computer system over the next few weeks – the first system from Dell to support dual PCI-Express-x16 slots. These slots will be utilized by dual NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX graphics cards that can be linked together for higher video performance. The base system with a Pentium 4 single core processor will cost $3099. ExtremeTech takes a look at the new system here and has the following verdict:
Dell offers up a polished, quiet system that can run games respectibly at very high resolutions, but performance falls a little short of Athlon 64 equipped systems.
