Creative has finally released the Zen Vision PMP device and you can check out the product on their website here. The Zen Vision is a small 30GB multimedia player with a 3.7″ color display capable of showing 262K colors. Spec. wise, it has the following features:
* weighs 8.4 oz
* Lightweight magnesium case
* 4.5 hours of video play time
* 13 hours of audio play time
* removeable rechargeable Li-Ion battery
* Composite TV out
* CF Card slot
Creative decided to use their own UI for the Zen Vision – opting to ditch Microsoft’s Portable Media Center OS. I took a look at the online demo and the UI isn’t as refined as the PMC unfortunately (I must admit, I was a fan of the PMC). It’ll be interesting to see how this device performs and if it’s a hit with consumers.
