T-Mobile has announced that the Samsung SGH-x495 will be available for T-Mobile users here in the states starting this month. The SGH-x495 is the successor to the SGH-x475 clamshell phone. The SGH-x495 includes the following upgrades:
* TFT LCD screen
* extended battery life (2.5 hours talk time, 200 hours standby time)
* Supports HiFi ringtones and Java MIDP 2.0
* IM support for AOL, Yahoo and ICQ

The new phone will retail for $129.99 or $49.99 with an instant rebate.
