FingerGear has announced a new USB Flash Drive that offers Fingerprint Authentication via a Biometric sensor supplied by Atmel. The new drive is a software free unit and comes with a large font LCD display for user information. Though not perfect, Biometric sensors on USB keys make perfect sense as a first layer of defense against would be intruders.
