Updates to the Apple Mac lineup
While we’re all waiting for the introduction of the Intel based Mac lineup, Apple has refreshed two of the curent lineups with new features. The first update is with the iBook line. The iBook G4’s now come with faster processors, improved graphics, built in wireless and Bluetooth as well as two new Apple technologies – scrolling trackpad and sudden motion sensor. The sudden motion sensor helps park spinning hard drives in case the laptop falls – similar to existing IBM technology found in ThinkPads.

The Mac mini has also been upgraded – with all models now coming with 512MB of RAM. The Mac mini can be found in three versions ranging from the 1.25GHz G4 to the 1.42GHz G4. Check out Apple’s website for more info or go to BIOS mag for more details.
