HP is unveiling new printer technology that will supposedly help solidify its leadership in the printer market. The new platform is a result of a five year, 1.4billion dollar strategic investment in new printer technologies. The new printing technology centers on a new printhead for ink jet printers that will enable high performance printing for high volume users at a reduced cost. The first printers based on the new platform will include the Photosmart 8250 and the Photosmart 3000 AIO.
