Akihabara News has an interesting gadget for security conscious folks – a mouse that locks your PC when you get more than 2 meters from your PC. How does it detect the distance? Well you carry a receiver on you that the mouse detects. Once you get far enough away from the PC, the mouse will lose the signal and automatically lock the PC. Not a bad idea – similar to LoJack for your PC.. However, what happens when you lose the receiver? Does your PC continually lock itself?
