Mossberg looks at the Pepper Pad
Mossberg over at the Wall Street Journal takes a look at the Pepper Pad Tablet device here. The Pepper Pad is not quite a full tablet PC nor is it a PDA but unfortunately it costs as much as some laptops out there. The unit has built in wireless networking – both WiFi and Bluetooth – and an internal 20 GB hard drive used to store a Linux OS. What’s his verdict?
In general, I would say the Pepper Pad is too expensive and too limited to fulfill its mission, at least in this first incarnation.
