Panasonic has introduced the first widescreen 16:9 CCD in the Lumix DMC-LX1 camera. The camera has a 8.4 MP CCD with 4x optical zoom and 2.5 inch LCD screen. It’s also able to record video at 848 x 480 resolutions at up to 30fps. That’s right – widescreen ratios even in video mode. Check out the BIOS article for more information on the camera.
