the reason that all the cooles phones are in t-mobile or cingular is because they use the most popular network in the world (GSM) so, all the companies make the newest phone for that network, so that is why your carries verizon or sprint cant have those models.. they need to wait and the new razr v3c is coming to that network (CDMA)and comes better that the regular razr ( 1.3 megapixel camera, mini sd card and edvo) but algo the new razr is coming too for cingular or t-mobile v3i so, allways gsm network is one step a haed than cdma..

i am a t-mobile custumer and it really works good to me.. it does not have the perfect coverage but i am in town, and works very good, if i travel always i have coverage. and t-mobile has international roaming. verizon and sprint dont have it.. well, i am not saying that verizon is bad company but some companies have good and bad things.. i work for sprint.. and i have a t-mobile phone.. ( i said everything about sprint rigth?.... )bad coverage and always charge for phone call the they never did...

the thing is t-mobile works good for me..rigth coverage, more minutes for less and i pay just 4.99 for unlimited internet in my phone, yes, really internet, no like get it now (verizon), vision (sprint)or Nmedia ( cingular ). really browser really internet.. some companies charge till 20 bucks for that service..
think about t-mobile !!

Yeah - I totally concur. I was a customer of Sprint PCS for about 5+ years before switching to Cingular.. and I only did so because I wanted a Windows smartphone and the 5600 from Audiovox was awesome. Now I didn't hate Sprint PCS although I didn't think that they were the best either but damn, their phone selection was pitiful.. until I saw Verizon's phone selection. I must say that Cingular hasn't been nearly as bad as AT&T was for me but I know that VW would be the ideal way to go here where I live... but darn the phones.. *sigh*

I have to admit though.. I have been eyeing that Samsung i730 from VW.. if it was a bit smaller!

Flung, exactly. I love Verizon, perfect service and their coverage map is like twice as big a Cingular, and their plans are like identical. I'm just so steamed over the Razr V3. I simply love it, so thin and finally affordable, but Verizon simply wont give me any details if they will cary it. Now that T-Mobile has it, I'm even more ticked off. It's just not fair. I'm very happy to see that some one else knows what I'm talking about, even if we want different phone, we want the same service. I know people that switch the chips so they will work with different networks, but I hate doing things the illegal way. Damn county!

Likewise! I've been waiting to switch over to Verizon Wireless for some time now but I really can't stand their phone collection. I'm stuck with Cingular b/c i like my Audiovox 5600 and they're the only carrier with that phone. Ugh...

Listen, this is all crap. All the really sweet, cool phones from Motorola, like the Razor or the PEBL are always going to crapy carriers like T-Mobile or Cingular. It's not fair. I am a very proud Verzion Wireless customer, and I should not have to switch over just to get the damn phone I want. Verizon is sooo big, I can't see why they don't step in and gobble these up! It just pisses me off. Sorry, I just had to get that out. I am just so outraged!
