PC Magazine reviews three Rear Projection TVs (RPTVs) here. The three models (and their reviews) are:
* Epson Livingstation LS57P2
“The Livingstation is an interesting twist on HDTV, adding photo management and printing to the mix. It also carries a very competitive price tag. But limited controls and image-quality issues prevent it from being on our short list.”

* InFocus ScreenPlay 61md10
“At only 7 inches deep, the InFocus 61md10 delivers a very big picture with an equally hefty price tag. Its performance and features make it an interesting HDTV, but other equal-size RPTVs are available for less.”

* Syntax Olevia LCT50HV 50″ HDTV
“With a street price just over $2,000, the Syntax Olevia LCT50HV is a pretty good value for a 50-inch rear-projection TV. Take a look, but be aware that there are better models on the market.”

Is the new Motorola PEBL mobile phone coming to T-Mobile? The folks over at PhoneMag.com believe that it just might be! Now I have to admit, I like the PEBL design. I’m not sure what it is - perhaps it’s the rubberized design .. or perhaps it reminds me of a Star Trek Phaser.. or perhaps it’s because it doesn’t look like a RAZR. Too bad this rumor is for T-Mobile and not for Verizon Wireless… sniff

The GeekZone reviews one of those new Toshiba Qosmio G20 laptops here.. These media centric PC’s sure do look beautiful - especially with that shiny black surface. The G20 comes with a built in TV tuner, a widescreen 17 inch display, and a Pentium M processor. Their review unit had Windows XP installed but I believe Windows Media Center is the normal OS if you were to purchase it here in the US. The verdict?

Impressive hardware features… Battery power not enough for a full movie in some cases

With a name like “The Sac Company” - you know the products HAVE to be good. These guys specialize in selling bean bags called “Kush Kush’s” which range from chair like versions to massive 6 feet versions capable of holding three people. I have to admit - the 6 foot Kush Kush sure looks comfortable. I just might have to get one for our home!

Akihabara has an interesting post on the Fuji Works’ PVRAlex - a video recorder ideally suited for the Sony PSP. The unit records video in the H.264/MPEG4 format and can only save videos to a Memory Stick Duo card - hmm seems ideal for the PSP doesn’t it? There are some open issues though which you can read about on the Akihabara News site.
