The main attraction of Bluetooth is the ability to easily connect one device to another using established open and secure wireless protocols. It’s a boon for many types of users – especially mobile users where wires quite frankly get in the way of things. An example of this is with the keyboard market where Bluetooth is a boon for PDA and tablet PC users. MobileBurn takes a look at three different Bluetooth enabled keyboards especially tailored for the mobile user. The keyboards are the ThinkOutside Stowaway Universal Bluetooth Keyboard.

The Nokia SU-8W Bluetooth Keyboard.

and the Freedom Input Freedom Keyboard.

The verdict?
I chose the ThinkOutside Stowaway Universal Bluetooth Keyboard as the winner of this test because it offered the closest experience to that of using a regular desktop keyboard. Its full sized keys made me feel right at home. It had some compatibility problems on one of our phones, but so did the other two. The Stowaway offers Bluetooth HID profile support, so you can use it with any HID compatible device without a driver. Currently that tends to mean just PCs, though.
