I can’t believe it - but someone actually reviewed the iGuy. What is the iGuy? It’s nothing more than a Gumby suit for your 4G iPod. Is it useful? umm I’ll let the Gadgeteer give its thoughts:

Pros:
I really can’t think of any…

GearLive has posted a short review of the newest version of iTunes - version 4.9. This major addition in this upgrade is the support for podcasts. Here’s a comment from the article:

Now as slick as all that is there is one significant flaw with the new podcast support of iTunes: It’s locked down and only certain server types are supported. The Gear Live podcast is not supported by the iTunes servers, nor are several other podcasts that we have in the past subscribed to.

HP continues to push forward with Windows Media Center Edition PC’s with their new HP Media Center PC 7070n Photosmart PC. The system has an Intel Pentium 4 6 series processor, 1GB of RAM, 250GB HDD, ATI Radeon X300, and a Dual Layer DVD+/-RW. PC Mag’s verdict?

The HP Media Center 7070n is designed more for advanced users than for beginners, though it might be a little too tame for hard-core multimedia enthusiasts.

Bjorn3D reviews the Seagate 400GB Pushbutton Backup USB 2.0/FireWire HDD - an external hard drive backup solution for PC users. The features include:
* Fast, Versatile, High-Capacity Storage
* Back up with the touch of a button. Award-winning BounceBack Express software from CMS backs up faster and easier than any other method.
* High-performance 7200-RPM drives, with 8-Mbyte or 16-Mbyte cache.
* On/off button eliminates concerns that your hard drive hasn’t been shut down safely.
* Built-in self-monitoring technology continuously checks your hard drive for data safety and drive performance.
* Advanced software lets you retrieve files fast, and even password-protect your data for added security.
* Hot-swappable, so you can connect and disconnect without turning off your computer.
* Complete with USB 2.0 cable, FireWire 1394a cable, AC adapter and power cord, quick installation guide and backup software CD.
The verdict?

The size, weight and capacity make this a great option to consider if you have a lot of data to backup or transfer to meetings, friends’ houses, LAN parties, etc. The performance isn’t awe-inspiring, but it fell in the range that I expected for a USB 2.0 hard drive.

I have a bias when it comes to keyboard/mouse combinations - I own and absolutely love the Logitech diNovo Cordless Desktop (I have the Bluetooth version), so whenever I see a review of a similar setup, I just have to post it up on my site. The TechZone reviews the non-Bluetooth version of the diNovo here. What does it think?

Overall, I like the diNova very much. It’s a very nice looking package that will compliment any computer room.

But of course!
