Hitachi 6GB MicroDrives to be used in future palmOne products?
There’s a Spanish Press Release from Hitachi out that is touting their new 6GB CF MicroDrive unit. Inside that press release is a statement that the 6GB drives will soon be included in palmOne’s new generation of handhelds. Could this mean you’ll soon be seeing LifeDrive’s with 6GB storage capacities? The new Hitachi drives have a 7Mbps data transfer rate with an average seek time of 12 ms.
