If you’re new to the DVR world then welcome – you’re in for a wild ride. The choices today are downright plentiful so one often wonders – where do I start? PC World attempts to answer that question by looking at several solutions from different manufactures. I used to be a TiVo user myself and as much as I love the simplicity that is TiVo, I eventually switched to a Microsoft Media Center system simply because I could do a whole lot more. The folks at PCWorld don’t necessarily agree but that’s ok. Every system has their pros and cons so you’ll need to consider them carefully before making the plunge.
