A company called Soldius based in the Netherlands has created a portable Solar Phone Charger. Plug this baby into your cell phone (it’s compatible with a wide range of cell phones) and then have it face sunlight. Using a technology called Maximum Solar Power Tracking, the device will charge your phone in about two to three hours. Look for future devices that will charge PDAs, DAPs etc.
