Samsung introduced three new digital cameras in NYC which will be released this summer and fall. The three digital cameras are as follows:

Samsung Pro815
- 8MP sensor
- 3.5 inch LCD (which is HUGE!)
- 15x optical zoom
- three ring lens
- 1 second boot up and recycle time
- shoots motion JPEG video clips at 25fps with stereo recording
- Available in August


Samsung Digimax i5
- Samsung’s smallest camera to date
- 5MP sensor
- 2.5inch LCD screen
- 3x optical zoom
- comes in silver, red, gray and black
- some sort of text recognition feature to the camera – at the software level?

Samsung L55W
- 5MP sensor
- 4.8x optical zoom
- 2.8inch LCD
- 30MB internal storage
- SD/MMC support
- boot time and recycle time of 1 second
