CVS One-Time-Use Video Camcorder
A few days ago we reported on how CVS pharmacy was going to start selling single use video camcorders that will allow you to record a short amount of video and then burn it to DVD. PC Magazine took one of these camcorders for a spin and also evaluated the entire service offered by CVS. In case you missed it, you get a small camcorder from Pure Digital Technologies which allows you to shoot up to 20 minutes of video. You can do minor edits to the video and then we’re you’re ready – you send it back to CVS for processing. In 30 minutes you get a DVD with your video recording. It’s a single use camcorder so you don’t get to use the camcorder again. What’s the verdict?
Though the price and video quality keep it from being a good option for regular use, the CVS One-Time Use Camcorder gives users an easy way to capture that day at the beach or water park without spending a bundle.
