If you’ve been staring at the Sprint PPC-6600 smartphone for some time, well it’s time to read about it over at PC Mag. The 6600 has an integrated camera unlike it’s sibling the 6601 but it’s nothing to write home about. The unit also comes with Windows Mobile 2003 – not the latest OS from Microsoft and it’s pretty darn expensive especially when you compare it up against the likes of the Treo 650. What’s the verdict?
The PPC-6600 is the most powerful handheld for Sprint subscribers. But it falls short of its Cingular, T-Mobile, and Verizon brethren by not offering a high-speed network, and the camera fails to impress.
