A company in Korea is now producing a Pentium M board upgrade for the G4 Cube Mac. These products are targeted to people who admir the G4 cube design but don’t want to run OS X on the system. There are some issues with using this upgrade board. The system uses the slower 133MHz memory bus from the G4 and will take a performance hit as a result. You’ll be able to get the upgrades at the beginning of next month – $399 for the 1.5GHz board and $499 for the 1.8GHz board.
